We have now introduced cyclic timer in our ultraviolet air steriliser whereby you can store off and on time for long use of the equipment . After storing the time the user can relax since the steriliser will automatically manoeuvre start and stop of itself
Introducing Ultraviolet Instrument Sterilizer, a product manufactured using state of the art technology for sterilizing various small & expensive instruments, within the sterilization chamber. An ultraviolet ray is a band of light with short wavelengths from 2000 to 2950 angstrom units which possesses the greatest germicidal effects of all ultraviolet wavelengths, particularly, the wavelength of 2537 angstrom units. It is extensively used to destroy bacteria, virus, mould spores etc.
Ultraviolet Instrument Sterilizer can be kept on even during the operations as special measures are taken to save against direct radiation. This unit can be kept on the table or at a suitable place.

| What is Ultraviolet sterilization ? |
Uv ray penetrates directly into bacteria and raises various kinds of biochemical reactions itself then bacteria fall into a functional disorder. Especially, UV rays strike directly bacteria’s DNA and have a fatal influence on it. These UV rays work directly on most bacteria’s DNA sequences and raise disorder itself then inactive bacteria. Therefore, UV wavelength of 253.7 nm, which is the most efficient sterilization level works directly on bacteria and obstructs DNA activities thus sterilizes bacteria’s cell perfectly. |

| What is Ultraviolet ? |
Ultraviolet light is a part of the light spectrum, which is classified into three wavelengths ranges -
UV-C, from 100nm to 280 nm
UV-B, from 280nm to 315 nm
UV-A, from 315nm to 400 nm |
| What is Germicidal Ultraviolet ? |
| Ultraviolet germicidal light it deactivates the DNA of bacteria, viruses and other pathogens and thus destroys their ability to multiply and cause disease. Specifically, UV-C light causes damage to the nucleic acid of micro organisms by forming covalent bonds between certain adjacent bases in the DNA. The formation of such bonds prevents the DNA from being unzipped for replication, and the organism is unable to reproduce. In fact, when the organism tries to replicate, it dies. |
| What are the beneficial uses of germicidal Ultraviolet? |
| Ultraviolet technology is a non-chemical approach to disinfection. In this method of disinfection, nothing is added, which makes this process simple, inexpensive and requires very low maintenance. |
| How to use instrument sterilizer ? |
| Ultraviolet germicidal cabinet provides a safe and convenient means of sanitizing all small instruments, utensils, stethoscopes, vacuum suction glassware, make up sponges, bandages etc. which can not be sterilized in steam sterilizers. These can be placed in the ultraviolet cabinet after cleaning them from an antiseptic solution/disinfectant in which the sterilization is carried out by short-wave Ultraviolet radiation generated by 8 Watt germicidal tube. |
- Digital timer: the instrument sterilizer is equipped with a digital timer from 1 to 60 minutes that can be adjusted depending upon the use.
- Alarm: alarm facility is provided after the completion of the time period of the timer.
- Auto sensor: the sensor automatically switches OFF the system when the door is opened in ON mode.
- Safety key: a protection key is provided in the system which enables it to use by any unauthorized person.
|
| Ultraviolet sterilizer can be effectively installed at different places: |
- At medical sites like Operation Theatre, ICCU, ICU, NICU, Post operation wards, OPD's etc.
- Suitable for laboratories, Dental Clinics, ENT Clinics, Beauty clinics etc.
